Iran to Hang 14 Jundullah Members Tomorrow
Iranian authorities announced on Monday that they will execute the number two man of the Jundullah terrorist group along with 13 other terrorists publically in the eastern city of Zahedan on Tuesday.
Abdulhamid Rigi, the number two man of the Jundullah terrorist group and brother of the ringleader Abdulmalik Rigi, has conducted a number of bombing operations and other violent attacks in Iran resulting in many casualties.
According to a statement by Sistan and Balouchestan's provincial Judiciary Office, the verdict on Abdulhamid and 13 other terrorist members of the group, who were sentenced to death for militancy and armed struggle against the Islamic Republic, armed hostage-taking and massacre of innocent people in Tasouki and Darzin regions in Bam, central Iran, will be carried out on Tuesday morning.
They will be executed publically at 6:30 AM in Laleh park in Zahedan city.
Rigi, a well-known gang leader whose group has already staged several terrorist operations in southeastern Iran, has long been chased by Iranian troops. In one of the worst cases, his group killed 22 citizens and abducted 7 more in Tasouki region on a road linking the capital city of Zahedan to another provincial town.
